IT Leadership Opportunity

The IT Manager oversees daily operations, manages staff and vendors, and ensures systems, networks, and applications are operating effectively. This role includes the development and enforcement of policies, managing cybersecurity protocols, leading upgrades, and aligning technology strategies with business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of infrastructure, including networks, servers, software, and hardware.

  • Manage support services to ensure timely resolution of technical issues across departments.

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects, including system upgrades, new software rollouts, and technology improvements.

  • Ensure security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity protocols are in place and updated.

  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

  • Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of assets.

  • Stay updated with technology trends and assess their potential value to the organization.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the team.

Requirements:

  • Strong IT expertise and experience.

  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems.

  • Solid background in cybersecurity.

  • Experience in policy development and enforcement.

  • Standard industry skills expected of an IT Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • At least 5–7 years of progressive IT experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

  • Proven experience in managing infrastructure, systems administration, and user support.

  • Strong knowledge of network management, cybersecurity, and enterprise software systems.

  • Experience in managing budgets, projects, and vendor contracts.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, PMP) are an advantage.
