Key responsibilities of this role include owning major features, collaborating closely with our design team, improving reliability metrics, participating in cross-functional discussions, reviewing pull requests, handling critical issues, and managing feature releases.

  • Owning major features and working closely with our design team to deliver high-quality features.
  • Shaping the future of our Android team by contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Improving reliability metrics for key features and owning maintenance and improvement tasks.
  • Participating in cross-functional discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Reviewing pull requests and supporting fellow teammates to ensure high-quality code reviews.
  • Handling critical issues and unexpected challenges that may arise during product development.
  • Managing feature releases and providing nightly builds for QA to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.

About You:

  • You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Android development.
  • You are familiar with Android components, including Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.
  • You have experience building or contributing to at least one Android app, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • You are driven by continuous feedback from leaders and are committed to delivering outstanding results.
