Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credentialing and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling credentialing needs for clients who are US-based health care providers, diagnostic laboratories, and medical facilities. This includes:

  • Collecting all required documentation for credentialing, such as accreditation, membership, and facility privileges;
  • Assisting providers with completing payer forms and ensuring compliance with payer expectations;
  • Responding to provider inquiries about credentialing process progress;
  • Alerting clients of new regulations, expiring certificates, reapplications, and deficiencies in credentialing requirements;

The Credentialing Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and current client information using an online database and driving the implementation of automated credentialing workflow management systems.

Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience in US-based credentialing processes;
  2. Familiarity with the US medical insurance industry;
  3. Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  4. Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously;
  5. Credentialing certification is required;
  6. High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US shift;
  7. Good internet access at home;
  8. Mobile hotspot;
  9. Laptop/Desktop of at least 8 GB;
