Job Title: Product Designer

We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to create innovative and safe toys for kids. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing engaging products that meet the highest safety standards.

This is a remote freelance opportunity where you will collaborate with various teams to bring your designs to life. Your creative vision and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering exceptional products that delight children.

  • Design and develop toy concepts that align with current themes and trends.
  • Use design tools like CAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe Illustrator to create detailed sketches and prototypes.
  • Conduct user research and testing with children or parent focus groups to gather valuable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international toy safety standards such as ASTM, EN71, and CPSIA.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in toy or product design, especially for children.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design process and final products.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Fusion 360).
  • Understanding of child psychology, play behavior, and developmental appropriateness.
  • Knowledge of toy materials, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with toy safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
