E-commerce Web Designer - Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist

Overview

This role focuses on designing and optimizing high-converting websites and user experiences across e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will design landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows that guide customers through the buying journey, using data-driven decisions to improve usability and conversions.

About This Role
  • CRO-Driven Web Design: Develop CRO strategies for high-performing e-commerce websites.
  • Customer Journey & User Experience: Map and optimize the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring smooth navigation and clear calls-to-action.
  • Data & Optimization: Analyze conversion rate, bounce rate, and cart abandonment rate to identify CRO opportunities, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics and heatmaps.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design responsive layouts that perform across devices.
  2. Use visual and animation cues to direct attention and encourage conversions.
  3. Collaborate on A/B and multivariate testing to validate design improvements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a high-level e-commerce web designer with a portfolio showing CRO-driven websites.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Elementor, and Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles for e-commerce (increasing purchases and maximizing revenue from existing traffic).
  • Ability to analyze conversion rate, bounce rate, and cart abandonment rate using tools like Google Analytics and heatmaps.
