We're seeking an experienced Trade Deductions Accountant to join our Professional Services Finance team. This role will play a crucial part in driving client value by providing financial support through distributor/retailer back-up retrieval, collections, and transaction processing.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in trade promotion management to make a meaningful impact at our company. As a Trade Deductions Accountant, you'll work closely with the AR Manager to build a scalable platform that supports deductions reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify trends and opportunities for clients based on expense settlements.
  • Determine whether an expense is authorized or unauthorized.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for different tasks within the department.
  • Improve the deductions process and make recommendations.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Promotion Management.
  • A background or education in Accounting.
  • Deductions, collections, reconciliations, and general trade finance experience.
  • CPG Industry experience.
  • Technical prowess with SaaS products, including Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite.
  • Experience working in a start-up and comfortable with change.
