Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop design, debug and operate ordering system applications in cloud production environments.
  • Support legacy applications running on premises.
  • Provide engineering support for end-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Manage code repositories using Git for efficient version control and collaboration.
  • Break down complex business and system problems into modular solutions.
  • Plan, develop and implement automated tests using Robot Framework and industry-standard tools.
  • Define and communicate a long-term technical vision.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5-10 years of experience developing and maintaining back-end applications using JavaScript, React and Python.
  • Experience in API development using AWS services like Lambda and RestAPI.
  • Experience in Agile development, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and infrastructure.
  • Experience in unit testing, test-driven development and code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Experience with container environments (Docker, Kubernetes or DockerSwarm).
  • Experience with real-time stream processing using Kafka.
  • Experience in AWS public cloud.
  • Linux and/or Agile certification.
