Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Administer and support core Microsoft, Citrix and VMware technologies, and install and configure software and hardware, upgrading Windows systems and servers.
  • Network Security: Identity management on platforms using Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Service, and ensure compliance with IT security requirements and policies.
  • Support and Training: Resolve support tickets as they're escalated from other teams, and mentor/cross-train team members on existing and new technologies.
  • Maintenance and Monitoring: Perform routine maintenance and scheduled backups of the server and related hardware and software, and monitor systems, availability, resource use (internal memory and disk space), performance, and security of systems and servers.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Windows Server 2022/2019/2016/2012 R2/2008 R2, Windows AD/LDAP/DNS/DHCP/NTP, Group Policy objects, Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Service.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
