Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at Vcloud Technologies Investment. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures to safeguard enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network architectures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and virtual private networks (VPNs) to ensure network security.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and network penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats in real-time.
  • Implement security policies and best practices for network infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into network operations and ensure seamless communication.
  • Investigate and respond to network security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, FTP).
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for log analysis and threat detection.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation, Network Access Control (NAC), and zero-trust architecture.
  • Experience with packet capture and analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
  • Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for network security automation.
