The Role of a Delivery Driver is multifaceted and demanding.

  • They are responsible for the safe delivery of goods to customers.
  • Custodians of assigned vehicles, they ensure the utmost security of items loaded on delivery vehicles.
  • Performing daily overall inspection of vehicles prior to usage, they guarantee vehicle reliability.
  • Ensuring the strict observance of traffic regulations and practices, courtesy, and defensive driving.
  • Performing required periodic maintenance schedule of vehicles.
  • Responsible for the safekeeping and proper maintenance of tools, spare parts, and accessories of the assigned delivery vehicle.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Vocational Diploma.
  • A valid Professional Driver's License (required to drive up to 6-wheeler vehicle) and Restrictions 1, 2, 3 or equivalent under new LTO Codes.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Delivers customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Carefully inspects packaging and condition of goods before delivery.
  • Checks against sales invoice and/or delivery receipts to ensure accuracy.
  • Guarantees deliveries according to schedule and ensures proper acknowledgment by the customer or their representative.
  • Loads and unloads all items for pick-up and delivery with care.
  • Communicates effectively with Sales and Logistics regarding customer inquiries and issues.
Collections and Reporting:
  • Settles cash advances and liquidations daily.
  • Transmits official company documents to Head Office.
  • Transports stocks for pickup by customers or Sales personnel.
  • Receives and collects payments from customers upon delivery based on instructions.
