The Retail Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the store. Their primary responsibility is to lead and motivate the team, executing brand directions and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Plan and set sales targets for each floor and brand, cascading numbers to store supervisors.
- Integrate marketing, merchandising, operations, and visual merchandising strategies into a cohesive effort.
- Implement expense control measures and develop utility schedules.
- Prioritize essential repairs and maintenance.
Additionally, the Retail Operations Manager is responsible for:
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance and inventory levels.
- Ensuring staff compliance and alignment with brand standards.
- Executing policies on inventory variances and losses.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs.
- Overseeing and guiding all departments and personnel in operational and sales activities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A graduate degree in any field.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer service issues effectively.
