The role of Customer Support Specialist is a vital part of our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to distributors through prompt and efficient responses to phone or email requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality customer support, including interacting with customers, addressing inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.
  • Main point of contact for external & internal customers to process, enter, maintain, and provide status of all standard and special orders.
  • Provide accurate quotes for established standard or contract pricing and modified tools.
  • Offer basic technical assistance and recommend products for customer applications.
  • Maintain open communication with internal sales personnel as well as the Customer Service Manager regarding any sensitive customer issues.
  • Achieve set departmental KPIs
  • Support Accounts Receivable by investigating disputed payments and process credit memos as needed.
  • Resolve quote or purchase order discrepancies for all customer orders.
  • Process routine returns, quality returns and annual stock returns.
  • Monitor Key Accounts; proactively notify clients of late orders, issue credits and/or RMA's, file customer complaints, track shipments, run open order reports as required.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs; solicit feedback to enhance service, manage challenging or emotional customer situations.

Your application should include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent manufacturing industry experience with 3-5 years of customer support experience. Product knowledge and industry experience with metal cutting tools is beneficial but not essential. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with ERP systems with the ability to multitask. Experience with SAP is also advantageous.
