About the Role

Business texting is subject to strict compliance regulations. As a Compliance & Monitoring Specialist, you will work closely with other security measures to ensure our customers can use their accounts safely and comply with regulations.

You will be responsible for monitoring messaging compliance in real-time, verifying new account sign-ups, and confirming changes to customer information. Your expertise will help us maintain a secure platform for our users.

This role involves:

  • Reviewing live message content for potential fraud, spam, or phishing activity
  • Detecting and reporting fraudulent behavior, taking necessary actions to block malicious accounts
  • Staying up-to-date on compliance updates and sharing best practices across teams
  • Identifying opportunities to educate customers on content guidelines and responsible texting practices

Requirements

  • English is your primary language; proficiency in secondary languages, particularly Spanish, is a plus
  • At least one year of experience in live chat customer support for software/SaaS platforms (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in similar roles, especially those requiring high attention to detail
  • Critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and work autonomously
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and a willingness to adapt to a growing team
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization abilities
  • Familiarity with live chat, ticketing platforms, and CRM systems
