Senior DevOps Engineer Role

This senior-level role involves leading the design and implementation of cloud-based application platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing automated, containerized solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in DevOps and cloud computing. You should have a deep understanding of Azure DevOps, Docker, and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), as well as experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab.

The ideal candidate will be able to design and build continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of different platform components. They will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on best practices for CI/CD deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based application platforms
  • Develop automated, containerized solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy software applications
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Provide guidance on best practices for CI/CD deployments

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps operations, including building automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience in Docker as a developer
  • 3+ years of experience with OCP, including operator installs, Helm charts, cluster installs, job configuration, and monitoring
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab
  • Skilled in automating application deployments via CI/CD pipelines using best practices and open-source tooling
  • Proficient in automating Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure using tools such as PowerShell
