Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Data Analyst

An Artificial Intelligence Data Analyst creates Gartner research and provides relevant advice to clients, supporting the sales force in new sales and client retention. The research offers valuable insights, predictions, and actionable advice to clients in the area of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science.

This includes developing written content, presenting findings, and advising organizations on AI technologies, governance, best practices, market trends, and vendors' solutions. Key areas of focus include:

  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis in AI, ML, and Data Science.
  • Developing a deep understanding of specific markets, industries, or roles.
  • Covering various topics while maintaining a broad perspective.
  • Identifying critical questions for Gartner clients and crafting research methods to address them.
  • Providing in-depth analysis based on extensive client input, collaboration with other analysts, and personal experience.
  • Leading a body of research and being recognized as a subject matter expert.
  • Creating and delivering high-value presentations and materials.
  • Supporting the Sales organization in selling and retaining clients on covered topics.
  • Providing high-quality and timely research peer review and mentorship.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply conceptual models, recognize patterns, and draw conclusions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including articulation and succinctness, to explain complex ideas effectively.
  • Ability to communicate credibly with executive audiences and present findings confidently.
  • Strong project planning and management skills, with the ability to take direction and execute plans independently.
  • Collaborative ethos, influencing, and leadership skills.
  • A motivated, creative individual who can grow research depth and skills.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience within the technology field, specifically AI/ML.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience preferred.
  • Technology and business knowledge of end-user strategies, AI/ML market, vendors, and products.
  • AI model development, deployment, and management expertise.
  • Application development and use implications of AI.
  • AI Governance understanding.
  • Knowledge of AI vendors comparisons, including cloud-based AI services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
