Job Title: Controller - Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Controller to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to drive financial strategy and provide executive-level insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Oversee all aspects of financial operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll management.
    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations.
    • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Strategic Analysis & Planning
    • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
    • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
    • Develop sophisticated financial models and pro forma analyses for business initiatives, product launches, and strategic investments.
    • Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer segment, and business unit.
  • Systems Integration & Process Optimization
    • Ensure seamless integration of inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and payment systems with the general ledger.
    • Lead ERP system optimization and financial system implementations.
    • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
    • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial dashboards.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory bodies.
    • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
    • Oversee internal controls and SOX compliance (if applicable).
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and executive teams.
    • Provide financial training and support to non-finance departments.
