Job Title: Utility Sector Leader

In this high-value role, you will oversee and mentor a team of utility engineers ensuring quality inspections, data accuracy, and process improvements within the electric utility sector.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the cataloging of utility assets, identifying equipment issues or potential hazards, and collaborating with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.

This leadership position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational abilities, as well as proficiency in computer software and good written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of utility engineers to ensure quality inspections and data accuracy.
  • Oversee the cataloging of utility assets and identify equipment issues or potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
