Job Title: Financial Accountant

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with financial software, successfully managed the general ledger for a U.S.-based entity, and possess strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

This role will focus on journal entries, month-end reconciliations, accounts payable processing, cash and credit card transactions recording, and optimizing financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Systems Optimization & Automation: Lead efforts to streamline accounting workflows and automate processes within financial software.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain accurate journal entries, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare reconciliations and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Cash & Credit Card Transactions: Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience with financial software and a proven track record of managing the general ledger for a U.S.-based entity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
