Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to forecast sales, profitability, and inventory needs for various periods.
  • Analyze internal data from Amazon API and QuickBooks, as well as external data on global economic trends, market conditions, and consumer behavior.
  • Identify and interpret key trends and patterns in sales, seasonality, and customer preferences.
  • Refine algorithms to optimize pricing strategies, inventory management, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to visualize predictive models and key metrics.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assess potential risks to production and supply chain, such as fabric shortages, natural disasters, and other disruptions, and incorporate these factors into forecasting models.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve data collection processes, analytical methods, and forecasting accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in an e-commerce or Amazon-focused company.
    • Proven experience in developing and deploying statistical models for forecasting and predictive analysis.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis and machine learning tools like Python, R, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
    • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
    • Strong background in statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
