Software Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Software Project Manager to lead our software development projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results. They should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  1. Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and required resources.
  2. Team Management: Oversee software development teams, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Budget Management: Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project continuity and success.
  5. Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that developed software meets quality standards, implementing quality assurance processes and procedures as needed.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and other relevant documents.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years' experience with Jira administration.
  • Familiarity with Coda or equivalent platforms (Notion, Airtable, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software project management.
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
  • Experience overseeing software development using technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, AWS, and Flutter.
  • An extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems.
  • Experience in managing a team remotely.

  • Start-up experience.
  • Knowledge of restaurant tech and operations.
