Job Overview

The Unified Data Event Platform will enable users to query, visualize, and analyze their data in order to optimize their workflows.

We aim to create a consistent dashboard experience that makes it easy for users to ask the questions pertinent to their use cases and build rich team/use case specific views.

The unified event platform will consume data from all stages so that users can monitor the health of their team, their processes, and their services all in a single pane of glass.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop high-scale backend components leveraging advanced data pipelines.
  2. Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (e.g. UX) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Craft code that meets standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
  4. Work with other teams to help them integrate monitoring and insights features into their product areas.
  5. Develop features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  6. Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
Requirements
  1. Professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL.
  2. Strong database expertise and interest in developing ClickHouse databases.
  3. Experience working with complex applications (Large scale is a bonus).
  4. Familiarity building and deploying software with CI/CD or internal tooling.
  5. Familiarity with distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
  6. A user of modern DevOps platforms.
  7. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote work environment.
  8. Monitoring system health with tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
  9. Analyzing metrics, developing automation scripts, scaling systems.
  10. Prior experience managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring efficient deployments.
  11. Prior experience operating a managed Kubernetes cluster.
