At our company, we're seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer II to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for test automation and a drive to deliver exceptional results.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of automation frameworks and best practices, as well as strong programming skills in languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, and TypeScript. They'll be responsible for developing test automation solutions, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless integration.

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive testing strategies that align with project goals.
  • Test Case Development: Design, develop, and implement automated test cases with minimal supervision.
  • Debugging: Use advanced debugging techniques to identify root causes of complex issues uncovered through automated testing.
  • Bug Reporting: Accurately document bugs using our bug tracking system effectively.
  • Version Control (Git): Manage and track changes in code repositories efficiently.
  • Programming Languages: Utilize intermediate to advanced knowledge of programming languages to write test scripts or understand code for test automation.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high attention to detail to identify minor issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze root causes of defects found during testing and make recommendations to prevent similar problems.

Responsibilities continued:

  • Communication Skills: Report issues effectively and collaborate with the development team.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of using Gherkin syntax for behavior-driven development (BDD).
