About the Role:
- As a Laboratory Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards in our clinical laboratory.
- You will plan, direct, and coordinate all work activities related to safe service.
- You will monitor, file, and maintain safety records of all Clinical Laboratory personnel.
- You will initiate coordination with the Laboratory Manager, Unit Heads, Officers, and various personnel on all concerns or matters related to safe service.
- You will develop and implement strategies to minimize or reduce patient-related incidents related to safety.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory safety or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
