Technical Support Specialist

This is a senior level position in our technical support team, where you will be working with customers across the globe to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues using debugging tools and expertise in WordPress.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via live chat, email, or phone to understand their needs and provide timely resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WordPress and its ecosystem, applying this knowledge to enhance customer support.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress, including in-depth knowledge of its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in creating well-structured HTML documents and implementing CSS from simple to complex techniques for styling.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and ability to recognize console errors for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Familiarity with basic PHP syntax and ability to make modifications to existing code snippets.
  • Experience with custom hooks and filters, WordPress page builder plugins, theme builders, and SEO plugins.
  • Skilled in optimizing WordPress websites according to Google Core Web Vitals and Page Speed Insights.
  • Certified expertise in WooCommerce customization, setup, and management.
  • Knowledge of web hosting stacks, cPanel, FTP client tools like Filezilla, Cloudflare, DNS configuration, CDNs, and command-line operations (SSH).
  • Previous exposure to live chat or help desk tools like Help Scout, Freshdesk, or Zendesk.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to create custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.
  • Proficiency in using WP-CLI and other advanced command-line tools.
