Job Title: Spatial Designer

This is a pivotal role in our design team, requiring expertise in CAD tools and a thorough understanding of spatial planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in creating precise planning drawings, elevations, and layout plans using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed spatial designs, elevations, and floor plans using CAD software
  • Interpret architectural sketches and design briefs to develop full construction-ready plans
  • Maximize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes
  • Ensure all drawings are aligned with UK building regulations and planning guidelines
  • Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to revise and improve drawing packages
  • Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing sets for project tracking
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and adjust to evolving client needs
  • A portfolio showcasing previous spatial, elevation, and layout work is highly preferred
