Your typical day will involve working on maintenance, enhancements, and development work for one or more clients in Cebu.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
  • Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients.
  • Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging application issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with web application development using Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience in implementing RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
