Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data modeling, data visualization, and software development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data models to support business intelligence and analytics needs. They will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions within specified timelines.

This role involves working on complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using various tools and technologies. The candidate must ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all data assets.

  • Design and develop LookML models, explores, and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  • Optimize LookML code to ensure performance, scalability, and efficient data processing.
  • Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all data assets.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, data visualization, and software development.
  • Proficiency in LookML for building and maintaining data models, explores, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience in creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Solid understanding of BI data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling (e.g., star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF data models).
