Motion Graphic Designer Role

As a motion graphic designer, you will craft compelling narratives that explain construction sequences and methodologies through cinematic camera movement and animation. This role involves the creation of engaging visual content that showcases the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Storytelling: Develop visually appealing animations that enhance project understanding and customer engagement.
  • Virtual Camera Direction: Design dynamic camera paths to improve clarity and user experience, simulating real-world perspectives and walkthroughs.
  • BIM Team Collaboration: Partner with BIM specialists to integrate CGI assets and ensure technical accuracy in animations.
  • Post-Production: Edit and enhance animations using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, incorporating motion graphics, transitions, and sound design.
  • Previsualization: Create storyboards and animatics to plan camera movement, timing, and scene transitions.
  • Technical Integration: Ensure smooth workflow between BIM-generated models and motion graphics tools, optimizing for performance and visual fidelity.
  • Content Versatility: Adapt storytelling techniques for various projects, including civil infrastructure (e.g., tunnels, roads, bridges) and advanced tech sector buildings (e.g., data centers, healthcare facilities).

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with BIM workflows, rendering engines, and scripting or automation in After Effects is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in motion graphics, 3D animation, and virtual cinematography.
  • You should be able to interpret engineering data and translate it into engaging visual content.
