Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Portfolio Finance Analyst. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in building and refining financial models, delivering on investor reporting requirements, and managing operating portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.
  • Reporting: Produce project level budget to actual variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams.
  • Investigation and Optimization: Highlight and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Deliverables: Prepare reporting packages and various deliverables to investors and lenders.
  • Collaboration: Work with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Data Infrastructure: Build data infrastructure that enables the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates, energy production, and other metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in related field or relevant coursework preferred
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization
  • Experience in renewables, energy, or infrastructure preferred but not required
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
