Job Overview

This role involves designing, implementing and maintaining staff training programs as well as human resources information systems (HRIS).

The Training Specialist will support various departments by coordinating employee orientation, ensuring training compliance, and verifying the accuracy of personnel data in HR platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and facilitating onboarding sessions for new employees across multiple departments
  • Creating digital and instructor-led training modules for staff at all levels
  • Tracking and maintaining employee training records, certifications, and compliance deadlines
  • Administering and troubleshooting the HRIS system to ensure accurate entry of staff data, assignments, and reporting structures
  • Collaborating with department leaders to customize training for specific job requirements
  • Regularly updating orientation curriculum, training documents, and onboarding checklists
  • Monitoring training compliance by auditing records and sending reminders for mandatory training renewals
  • Supporting the development and implementation of staff development plans and continuing education initiatives
  • Generating reports and dashboards within HRIS for leadership monitoring

For this position, we are seeking a candidate with proficiency in HRIS systems, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to facilitate training both in-person and virtually.

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with 2-3 years of experience in HR, training coordination, or systems administration.
