Job Title

Executive Director of Technology Strategy

We seek an experienced and skilled technology leader to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

This position requires strong technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills to guide the organization's technology strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Technology Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive technology plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new technologies and systems.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve existing processes and systems.
  2. IT Infrastructure and Development:
    • Evaluate and maintain hardware and software upgrades to ensure optimal system performance and security.
    • Oversee the development and advancement of our communications network.
    • Design and implement wide-area connectivity network infrastructure to support remote access needs.
  3. Collaboration and Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to reduce duplication of services and improve service quality.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers for technology installations and employee training.
  4. Systems Analysis and Optimization:
    • Analyze current technology used for design, development, and administration to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Review computerized and manual systems, and information processing equipment for acquisition, storage, and retrieval.
  5. Security and Compliance:
    • Monitor and validate our compliance with security policies, including data privacy laws.
    • Ensure our readiness for digital transformation and lead the process.
  6. Leadership and Change Management:
    • Provide overall management of IT activities, including leadership in day-to-day IT operations.
    • Manage costs while leveraging resources for future investment and success.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 20 years of experience in IT.
  2. Experience in logistics, supply chain, distribution, and warehousing is required.
  3. More than 10 years at a management level.
  4. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
