Business Finance Analyst Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with top startups, building out their organizations and helping them reach the next level of success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform hands-on transactional bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and forecast trends to inform operational planning.
  • Assist in developing financial models, dashboards, and tools to drive business insights.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working as a Business Finance Analyst with a strong understanding of both strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
  • Advanced, hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
