Job Title: Senior QA Automation Lead

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior QA Automation Lead to spearhead our quality assurance strategy and team.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation, and leadership, with at least 5+ years experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year experience in leading a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and Implement Testing Strategies: Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to ensure seamless integration of QA processes into the development lifecycle.
  • Drive Test Planning and Execution: Plan, prioritize, and execute both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Maintain and Enhance Automation Framework: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.
  • Monitor Automation Test Coverage: Ensure issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable by monitoring automation test coverage and execution results.
  • Review Test Results and Quality Metrics: Prepare leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation by reviewing test results and quality metrics.
  • Cultivate a Culture of Accountability: Mentor QA engineers and foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the QA team.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.
  • Explore AI-Driven Testing Solutions: Explore and integrate AI-driven testing solutions to enhance automation efficiency, such as intelligent test generation, self-healing scripts, and predictive defect detection.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in Manual and Automation Testing: At least 5+ years experience in both manual and automation testing.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 1 year experience in leading a team.
  • Development and Execution of Test Plans: Development and execution of test plans and scenarios.
  • Automated Testing Skills: Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework.
  • Testing Complex GUIs and APIs: Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
  • Source Control Management: Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
