Financial Operations Specialist

As an Offshore Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our company's financial operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech startup and contribute to shaping the future of our accounting team.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online. You will be working closely with our in-house CPA to perform core accounting tasks, manage monthly closes, and ensure timely reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of accrual accounting, and US GAAP. Proficiency in Xero is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is also beneficial.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage monthly closes and ensure timely reporting
- Support future services such as bill pay, invoicing, taxes, and general back-office accounting functions
- Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must
- Experience with Xero is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is a bonus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Self-starter who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly to evolving needs
