Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of payroll, including monthly processing, compensation components, statutory compliance, incentive calculations, and data integrity for a remote team of over 350 employees.
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing for an in-house or semi-managed environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance in the Philippines, serving as a subject matter expert and providing senior management with timely advice and recommendations.
- Serve as the onsite final point of contact for global stakeholders and senior leadership regarding PH payroll matters.
- Guarantee the accuracy and compliance of payroll planning and execution, implementing internal audit corrections and managing audits and risk assessments as necessary.
- Collaborate with a remote team spanning multiple geographies, developing and maintaining payroll Standard Operating Procedures and TATs.
- Produce reports and outputs to ensure financial and regulatory compliance, working closely with HR Business Partners, legal, finance, and functional executives.
- Participate in the renewal of group insurance policies and support the employee insurance lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of payroll best practices and relevant provincial and local laws.
- Extensive hands-on payroll experience, specializing in in-house payroll processing with familiarity with taxation, SSS, and benefits administration laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with a capacity for quickly learning new tools.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently under minimal guidance, flexible to accommodate varying schedules.
- Proven willingness and ability to learn payroll systems and best practices in various international contexts.
- Significant experience with HRMS and extensive backend payroll operations, able to meet deadlines consistently.
