Australian Payroll Specialist Role

Delivering end-to-end payroll processing is a critical function for entities in Australia and New Zealand. We seek an experienced Australian Payroll Analyst to join our team as a key member of our payroll department.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reconciling PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi saver, and all statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand entities.
  • Ensuring compliance with government statutory requirements.
  • Conducting audits of payroll records to identify areas for improvement.
  • Familiarizing yourself with the taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors that impact payroll.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Supporting process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About You

  • You should have at least 3 years of experience in AUS payroll.
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems is required.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills are essential.
  • You should possess great interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also necessary.
