Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing, negotiating, and evaluating suppliers.
- Inventory Management: The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Purchase Order Processing: The candidate will be responsible for processing purchase orders, including verifying quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
- Supplier Relationship Management: The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Skillset: Strong organizational skills, negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word), ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Providing general administrative support, handling incoming phone calls and emails, maintaining and updating filing systems, assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations.
