Cloud Security Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and take an active role in advancing our cloud security offering and capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security. They will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and providing expert guidance to clients on cloud security best practices.

This is a critical role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and delivery, to drive business growth and client satisfaction.


Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architectures for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identity and Access Management: Implement and manage identity and access management solutions, including Azure Entra ID, IAM, and Security Groups.
  • Data Encryption: Ensure data at rest and data in transit are encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks.
  • Compliance: Ensure all cloud security solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
  • Client Support: Provide expert guidance to clients on cloud security best practices, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, with a focus on compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
