IT Security Specialist Role

  • Perform and document IT audits, writing conclusions and findings following industry standards.
  • Review and evaluate IT systems to ensure compliance with prevailing laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify root causes of specific problems and develop practical recommendations.
  • Present audit results to stakeholders, including recommendations to address identified risks.
  • Prepare input to the formal Audit Report and communicate audit results effectively.
  • Follow up on audit findings and validate implementation of recommendations.

Key qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, minimum 1-2 years internal auditing experience, and strong communication skills. Information technology industry experience is preferred but not required. Professional certifications are also desirable.
