Job Description

We are seeking an experienced senior software engineer to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in developing information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Implement all aspects of application design, including high-performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
  • Develop efficient stored procedures, queries in MS SQL.
  • Evaluate and improve application performance.
  • Coordinate project requirements derivation, software design, and implementation.
  • Work with deployment and development solutions teams to deliver improved customer experience.
  • Perform unit and system level testing on applications.
  • Collaborate with product development teams, product management, design office, services, and help with upgrade testing, analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Respond to customer escalations.
  • Develop automation tools, utilities, and scripts.
  • Protect patient data and ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Understand and comply with information security and HIPAA policies at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience with .NET Technologies (.NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC 4.0 or above) with C# as primary language.
  • 3+ years' experience with SQL Server 2019 or above.
  • Working knowledge of microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with publishing and consuming RESTful APIs programmatically and using tools like Postman.
  • Experience preparing unit tests with Nunit or Xunit.
  • Experience working with distributed source control like GIT.
  • Healthcare experience is preferable.
  • Good experience in writing efficient SQL queries.
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and directed with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute tasks with minimal or no supervision.
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
