Job Overview

This role is responsible for the financial management and reporting of a company. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow, disbursement, and reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support the finance manager in facilitating internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and file tax-related remittances, compliance reports, and local business taxes.
  • Financial/Management Reporting: Prepare general ledger entries, perform EOM closing activities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Others: Perform administrative tasks, prepare ad-hoc reports, and provide specific inputs to payroll.

Qualifications

The Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • At least 3 years' significant experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Experience with financial statement audits and other external reporting requirements.
  • Strong client management skills.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability.
  • Strong ability to think critically, excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other financial software.
