Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our organization and contribute to the development of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.
  • Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality isn't compromised by new changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Document and communicate test results, status reports, and defect metrics to the QA Manager and development team.
  • Mentor junior QA testers.
Requirements

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Automation testing tool experience (Lambda, Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot, Appium, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
  • ISTQB certification or similar.
  • Performance and load testing tool experience.
