As a seasoned Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

About the Opportunity

You will have the responsibility of leading the accounting team, enhancing internal controls, and supporting strategic financial planning for the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management and Reporting
  • Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for real estate, agribusiness, and retail operations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and filing requirements.
General Accounting and Internal Controls
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal control processes to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and best practices.
Audit and Compliance
  • Coordinate and lead external and internal audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and training to enhance the team's skills and performance.
  • Set clear performance goals and regularly evaluate progress.
Financial Strategy and Support
  • Collaborate with senior management to support financial planning and strategy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and business operations.
Technology and Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Leverage accounting software and tools to optimize financial management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in real estate, agribusiness, or retail industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
