Early Years Practitioner Role

The role of an Early Years Practitioner is to provide high-quality care and education for young children in a nursery setting.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement educational activities for children aged 0-5 years
  • Establish positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a qualified level 2 or level 3 nursery practitioner qualification.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly on a zero-hour contract.
