**Senior Back-End Developer Wanted**We are looking for a skilled backend developer to join our team and help shape the future of our cloud-based platform.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and building high-performing backends that power our real-time geospatial platforms.

  • Design and develop high-performance backend systems and APIs built for speed and growth.
  • Build and manage secure, reliable, and efficient public-facing APIs.
  • Owning CI/CD pipelines that power continuous integration and deployment.
  • Implement best-in-class monitoring and observability with tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • Partner with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to align backend architecture with business goals.
  • Harness PostgreSQL and PostGIS for advanced SQL and geospatial data management.
  • Deploy solutions in AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, and Serverless frameworks.
  • Support microservices-based architectures and event-driven workflows with webhooks.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of backend development experience, building and scaling public-facing APIs.
  • Proficient in Python, with solid experience in Flask or FastAPI.
  • Highly skilled in SQL and PostgreSQL, and ideally PostGIS for geospatial data.
  • Experience with spatial mapping tools (like Mapbox) or GIS concepts.
  • Design RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable, and built for performance.
  • Thrives in AWS environments (API Gateway, Lambda, Serverless) and knows how to ship production-ready systems.
  • Understands microservices and event-driven workflows, including webhooks.
  • Values observability, with real-world experience using Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • Champions CI/CD and can build pipelines that keep code moving fast and safe.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, shapefiles, or KMZ.
  • Understanding of telecom or utility network planning and deployment workflows.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX prototyping tools.
