Job Title - Mechanical Design Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled mechanical design specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for handling the mechanical requirements of power supply units, including designing casings, heatsinks, plastic parts, and insulation, as well as thermal and acoustic requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Optimization: Optimize printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for efficient performance.
  2. Component Sourcing: Specify and source connectors, fans, wires, and other interconnection devices.
  3. Documentation: Create assembly drawings, process instructions, parts lists, and other engineering documentation.
  4. Cost Reduction: Evaluate opportunities for cost reduction without compromising product quality.
  5. Production Support: Provide support for production line issues and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience or fresh graduates with potential.
  3. Familiarity with customer electronics R&D or design for manufacturability is advantageous.
  4. Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling software, such as ProE/Creo, and Microsoft Windows applications.
  5. Resourceful and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
  6. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
