Job Title: Accountant
We are a fast-growing fintech business in the banking sector, currently expanding our service offerings to include accounting solutions for clients.
We're seeking a dedicated Offshore Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level, with the potential to help shape the future of the team and grow alongside the company.
You will be working closely with our in-house financial expert, focusing initially on core accounting tasks with a clear path to expand your scope as we scale.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage monthly closes and ensure timely reporting
- Support services such as bill pay, invoicing, taxes, and general back-office accounting functions
- Collaborate directly with the internal team to build efficient workflows and client support systems
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong knowledge of accrual accounting and US GAAP
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
- Xero experience is an advantage, but not necessary
- Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Ramp, or similar platforms is beneficial
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and adapt quickly to evolving needs
