Job Title: Security Risk Management Specialist

As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Canonical's security risk management strategy. This will involve defining and maintaining robust security standards and playbooks, analysing and improving existing security practices, evaluating and selecting new security tools and methodologies, growing the presence and thought leadership of Canonical's security risk management practice, and developing learning materials to educate staff on security best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic track record
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Drive and ability to go above-and-beyond expectations

  • Leadership and management ability
  • Excellent business English writing and presentation skills
  • Problem-solver with excellent communication skills and technical understanding of security assessments and risk management
  • Expertise in threat modelling and risk management frameworks
  • Broad knowledge of how to operationalize the management of security risk
