Web Development Opportunity for E-commerce Professional

Overview of the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain the company's e-commerce website, ensuring it is functional, performant, and scalable.
  2. Work on front-end and back-end development tasks, including coding, debugging, and implementing new features.
  3. Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  4. Integrate e-commerce functionalities such as shopping carts, payment gateways, and third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience.
  5. Monitor and optimize website performance, including speed, responsiveness, and overall site efficiency.
  6. Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure website alignment with branding and marketing strategies.
  8. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Requirements

Must-Have:

  1. At least 2 years experience in ecommerce website development, preferably in a retail or direct-to-consumer environment.
  2. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and CMS (e.g., WordPress).
  3. Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
