Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will work on a variety of engineering design tasks, collaborating with designers, architects, and project managers.

  • Prepare detailed mechanical engineering drawings in accordance with NYC building codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects, utilizing expertise in mechanical engineering.
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design compatibility and regulatory compliance, facilitating effective collaboration.
  • Revise and update technical drawings based on project specifications and markups, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Conduct technical reviews and contribute to the development of project documentation, providing valuable insights and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, indicating a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting, showcasing proficiency and expertise in the field.
  • Strong knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations, enabling the candidate to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, demonstrating skills in industry-standard software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment, highlighting adaptability and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
